WE ARE BUILDING FOR THE FUTURE

The work at Sonnen Tiefbau is varied and that's what makes it so special. Every day, we deal with exciting projects, overcome obstacles and overcome challenges. Whether it's preparing large areas, developing land in the mountains or drilling under waterways to connect several separate plants.

We are called upon at the beginning and end of every project realisation and ensure that the solar power generated is fed into the grid. All of our energy is utilised throughout Germany and in other European countries.

Solar parc Cochem-Zell

Solar park UNESCO Geopark Vulkaneifel

In the middle of the Moselle nature reserve, we laid and connected cable systems for a total of four solar parks.
For the route, we crossed under the Moselle and drilled up to 930 metres through the slopes.

  • Overcoming slopes over 270 metres high
  • Laying cables over a distance of 14 kilometres
  • March 2024

Solar parc Quarnstedt

In the run-up to the actual development work, we constructed a crossing over an existing drainage ditch, repaired existing concrete slab paths with recycled concrete and relocated an existing concrete shaft. For the further realisation of the project, we constructed construction roads made of natural stone gravel, crane parking areas and construction site equipment areas.

  • Main roads, total area approx. 5,600 m2
  • Crane parking areas, total area approx. 1,000 m2
  • Construction site equipment area, approx. 2,000 m2
  • October/November 2020

Solar parc Dätgen

The site is divided into two sections, one on the northern and one on the southern side of a motorway. To make the project areas passable and for the subsequent fire brigade bypass, we constructed approx. 6,400 m2 of construction roads from recycled bricks in Dätgen. Approx. 500 m2 of crane pads were also required for the delivery of the solar park's transformer stations.

  • Main roads, total area approx. 6,400 m2
  • Crane set-up areas, total area approx. 500 m2
  • Construction site equipment area, approx. 3,000 m2
  • October 2020

Solar parc Ludwigslust

At the largely completed solar park in Ludwigslust, we dismantled the construction site facilities area made of recycled bricks and used the material to repair existing paths.

  • Construction site area, approx. 1,500 m2
  • Repair of existing paths
  • September 2020
